Stepless Espresso Coffee Grinder Regolare 600N Feima 600N // 60mm burrs

This is a brilliant little grinder. These grinders are well-known in numerous Asian countries but have yet to be discovered by many in the US. The main thing that sets this grinder apart from others in this price-range is its stepless grind-control. The Regolare 600N uses 60mm flat burrs similar to that of much more expensive machines. Out of the box, most Regolare 600N models come from the factory calibrated for filter, pour-over, and French press brewing methods. However, re-calibrating the 600N for espresso takes less than 2 minutes and only involves removing one Phillips screw (see below). Even when calibrated for espresso, the 600N can grind coarse enough for filter coffee or pour-overs V60, Kalita, Chemex, etc. In our opinion, the 600N looks cooler than most espresso grinders on the market today. Its styling is reminiscent of the famous Mahlkonig EK43 grinder. You wont find a better espresso/coffee grinder for the price. This machine would pair great with the Gaggia Classic, Breville Infuser, or any other espresso machine out there! Plus it does a great job with filter coffee! This machine also comes with two spare fuses, and a matching black grind-bin (not pictured). This machine is built for US markets (110v), and will work on standard US outlets! The hopper will fit around 250g of coffee. Guide to Calibrating for Espress o. If you would prefer a video you can follow the calibration video made for the KitchenAid burr grinder on Youtube. They are calibrated in essentially the same way. Search youtube for “calibrate the KitchenAid burr grinder” and select what should be the first option (it will be entitled: “How To: Calibrating the Burr Grinder / KitchenAid”). Note that the KitchenAid’s numbering system is backwards. You should set your Regolare to 0-2 instead of 8 as the video instructs. For written instructions see the following. For safety reasons, it is best to install the bean hopper on top of the grinder before you ever turn the machine on for any reason. Do this now and then plug in the machine and turn the motor on using the switch at the back. Slowly adjust the grind size knob at the front of the machine clockwise. As you near the finest settings (0-2) you may hear a slight noise like metal grinding against itself. If you hear this you can back off (turn it back slightly, counter-clockwise) and turn the machine off. If you hear this it means your Regolare is already calibrated for Espresso! You are good to go! If not, keep following the directions below. Position grind setting somewhere between 0-2 on the dial (whatever you set this will be you finest setting) and turn off the machine. Remove the screw in the center of the grind setting dial and remove the dial (the entire round chrome part with the numbers on top). You should see a large round gear where the grind setting dial was. Turn the grinder back on a begin slowly rotating the gear clockwise until you begin to hear a slight grinding sound. Back up slightly (counter-clockwise) until the grinding sound stops. Return the chrome grind setting dial back onto the gear in the position it was with the red arrow pointing to one of the lower numbers, e. Return the screw to the dial and you are good to go!
