Designed by Rocket to incorporate commercial quality features in a home use grinder, the Macinatore Fausto is a stepless electronic grinder with programmable dosing, 65mm steel burrs, and the traditional Rocket flair. Released in tandem with their revolutionary R 60V espresso machine, this grinder is looking to up the status quo for home brewing equipment. Thanks to stepless adjustment, the Macinatore Fausto has an infinite number of grind settings. When calibrating your grind, all adjustments are made to the bottom burr rather than to the top, meaning you won’t lose your settings when you remove the top burr for cleaning. Unlike a number of other grinders, the Fausto has a dedicated micrometric grind adjustment gear to change your grind settings rather than turning the hopper. The Fausto grinds with a set of 65mm flat tempered steel burrs and a 500W single phase, 1360 RPM motor. You can program individual grind settings for both a single, and double shot of espresso. Coffee dosage is adjusted by time within 1/10th of a second using the LED display and “+” and “-” buttons located on the top of the coffee chute. You can also manually grind by pressing both the single and double shot buttons simultaneously. For easy access to the burrs, cleaning, or just changing out your coffee, the bean hopper on the Macinatore Fausto is fitted with a locking mechanism to cut off the flow of beans into the grinder. For increased stability, Rocket has included a silicone seal just above the burrs to help secure the hopper in place.
