This has the upgraded hopper allowing you to close off the bean flow with beans still in hopper to remove for cleaning rather than having to turn the grinder upside down to empty out bean hopper. NOTE: in order for this hopper to engage the safety power switch at the back bottom area of the hopper, I have added two layers of electrical tape. Without this, it can’t quite engage the switch back there which is a safety precaution so you can’t turn the grinder on when the hopper is removed. See the last picture to see the added tape.
