Two thermostats regulate the coffee cycle and steaming process for the pump, with a third safety thermostat located on the pump in the event of continuous or abnormal use. Other thoughtful details include simple push-button switches, a “ready” indicator light, a removable 1-4/5-liter filtered water reservoir that fills from the back, and visible water levels from the front of the unit. In addition, the unit’s AquaStop no-drip system prevents dripping and the need to empty the machine of remnant water, while a cup warmer on top of the machine keeps porcelain cups warm.
