For sale my Baratza Preciso conical burr coffee grinder! This has seen little use as I have a small collection of grinders and have been asked to reduce it. The grinder is in perfect condition, fully functional and comes with all components and original box and quick start guide and cleaning brush. (small metal portafilter rest plate missing, read further along; does not affect grinder functionality at all). Comes from pet free, smoke free home. It’s absolutely fantastic as it easily grinds for espresso, v60, aeropress, french press. The grind range is huge but offers you a great level of microadjustment due to its MICROadjust lever. You have 40 macro adjustments and 11 micro for each of the macro! That’s 444 different grind settings! Just a few clicks and you are on to a different setting. There has almost zero retention which means that you never get left with stale coffee backed up in the chute and chamber. Grinds really fast and the grounds are fluffy with tight particle size distribution. It really gets some lovely flavours out from any coffee and I can confirm this as I have tested it against grinders 5 times its price. It has a manual timer mode or an on-demand button so you can chose if you want to grind based on time or by pulsing. It comes with 2 different grind collecting bins. The handiest one is the full sided one which contains all the grounds and you can then fill your portafilter or brew assembly of choice. The second one allows you to either rest your portafilter on it and grind directly into it. Unfortunately I seem to have misplaced the metal rest. If I can find it I will stick in the box. If you ever need to replace a part, this grinder is perfect as it is really really easily. And they have youtube clips to help you. Personally what I found worked best for me was using it without a grinds bin at all and instead attaching a mini cardboard funnel at the base of the exit chute which resulted in absolutely perfect deposition of my grinds into either portafilter or cup to transfer to v60 and aeropress. Honestly, you will love this grinder as I have and will really take you coffee journey that step further.
